Church Library
The Wyoming UMC church library is a valuable ministry headed by
Margaret Bryan, our volunteer librarian.
Donations are gleefully accepted, especially Christian videos and DVD's.
You can suggest new titles or authors, or offer to help out. Contact
Margaret at
napkinring@verizon.net.
The library is a
SELF-SERVICE operation.
It's as simple as:
- Select a book
- Sign the card in the back of the book
- Place the card in the box on card catalog
- Take the book home, read and enjoy
- Return book to library cart

WHAT IS THE
INTERFAITH RESOURCE CENTER? The Interfaith Resource
Center is an ecumenical library of
religious books, tapes, DVDs and studies available for borrowing by
member religious groups and individuals. It is located
in Wilmington, Delaware, but its normal operating procedure is a
QUICK MAILING SYSTEM,
similar to that used by NETFLIX, by which materials can be easily
reserved online, received, reviewed, used, and returned all by mail.
Wyoming UMC is a member of the IRC so all members of Wyoming can
borrow from the IRC library at no cost. |
WYOMING LIBRARY ONLINE!
The IRC also allows churches like ours to put our own library
resources online where we and others can find out what we own as well as
what the IRC has available. As more churches put their library
catalogues online with the IRC, Sunday School teachers, Bible study
group leaders, pastors and other individuals from local churches will be
able to share resources easily and locally saving our churches money and
connecting us together in ministry as Christ intended. Please check out
the IRC website at
http://www.interfaithresourcecenter.com/, then clink on
"Card Catalog", scroll down and type in "Wyoming"
under the heading "Description" to discover the 1,474 hidden treasures
of OUR OWN Wyoming library! |
